These Terms are intended to regulate the rights and obligations between OHMCCo., Ltd., Best Western Gunsan Hotel (hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”) and customers.

Article 1 - Purpose and Use of These Terms

1. These Terms are intended to regulate the rights and obligations between the Hotel and customers.

2. Accommodation contracts and related agreements shall be governed by these Terms, and matters not stipulated herein shall follow laws, customs, or practices.

3. Reservations made using credit cards shall follow these Terms, while other credit card-related matters shall follow agreements between the credit card company and the Hotel.

4. The Hotel may enter into separate special agreements that do not violate laws or customs, which shall take precedence over these Terms.

Article 2 - Accommodation Reservation and Contract

1. Customers wishing to stay may apply for a reservation, and the Hotel may request the following information. Refusal may result in restriction of the reservation.
① Name, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, passport number, contact details, credit card number, etc.
② Consent to collection, use, and third-party provision of personal information
③ Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel

2. The accommodation contract is established when the Hotel accepts the reservation request.

Article 3 - Rejection of Accommodation

The Hotel may refuse accommodation in the following cases:

1. Requests to which these Terms cannot be applied
2. No available rooms
3. Exceeding room occupancy or unauthorized guests
4. Violation of laws, public order, or morals
5. Infectious diseases as defined by authorities
6. Possession of dangerous items or violent behavior
7. Intoxication or abnormal behavior causing disturbance
8. Natural disasters or facility failures
9. Smoking likely to cause fire
10. Bringing in offensive food items
11. Inability to pay accommodation fees
12. Minors under 19 years of age
13. Excessive burden beyond reasonable expectations
14. Restrictions under Korean law
15. Other justifiable reasons

Article 4 - Reservation Deposit

1. The Hotel may request a reservation deposit.

2. The deposit will be applied to accommodation fees, or to penalties or compensation under Articles 5 and 6.

3. If paid by credit card, the Hotel may charge penalties directly and provide details upon request.

Article 5 - Cancellation by Customer

1. Cancellation penalties apply as follows:
- 3 days prior: No penalty
- 2 days prior: 30% of first-night rate
- 1 day prior: 50% of first-night rate
- Same day / No-show: 100% of first-night rate

2. Applies to direct reservations only; agency bookings follow agency terms.

3. Penalties are capped at total accommodation fees.

4. Penalty timing may vary; confirmation may be requested.

5. No penalty for delays not attributable to the guest, subject to proof.

Article 6 - Cancellation by the Hotel

1. The Hotel may cancel the contract before or after registration under conditions specified in Articles 2–4 and 7–8.

2. The Hotel may claim compensation for damages incurred.

Article 7 - Registration Procedure

1. Check-in starts at 15:00 and may vary.

2. Guests must register required information and provide a valid credit card.

3. Registration completes the stay for the full contract period.

Article 8 - Payment of Charges

1. Charges must be paid at check-out.

2. Prepayment may be requested for long stays.

3. Payment methods include cash, credit card, traveler’s checks, and vouchers.

4. Charges may be reviewed one day before check-out.

5. Charges apply even if the guest does not stay after registration.

Article 9 - Room Keys

1. Keys must be returned upon check-out.

2. Lost keys incur replacement charges.

Article 10 - Central Heating and Cooling

1. The Hotel operates a central system.

2. Operation varies by season and weather.

3. The Hotel is not responsible for temperature-related issues.

Article 11 - Responsibility

1. Responsibility begins at check-in and ends at check-out.

2. The Hotel is not responsible for guest negligence.

3. Damage to room items will be charged.

Article 12 - Compliance with Rules

Guests must comply with hotel rules. Violations may result in eviction or charges.

Article 13 - Operating Hours

Facility hours are posted separately and may change. Usage may be restricted for safety reasons.

Article 14 - Check-out Time

1. Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM.

2. Late check-out fees apply as follows:
- Until 15:00: KRW 10,000 per hour
- After 15:00: 100% daily room rate

3. Guests may confirm details in advance.

Article 15 - Refusal of Stay Extension

The Hotel may refuse extension if Article 3 applies or rules are violated.

Article 16 - Amendment of Terms

1. Terms may be amended as needed.

2. Mandatory laws take precedence.

3. Amendments do not apply retroactively.

Article 17 - Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved by mutual agreement or governed by the Civil Procedure Act.
